Ed Guanill Ed joins Springer Financial Advisors as a Financial Representative with 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Ed’s career began in 1997 in the banking and merchant acquiring sector. Ed served as Director of Business Development & Mergers and Acquisitions where he was responsible for the management of more than $92 million in revenue.Today, Ed helps our clients prepare for retirement using sound financial principals. His focus is on showing clients who are in the retirement red zone how to achieve their financial goals by protecting and shielding their assets from market risk while earning competitive rates of return and providing a guaranteed income stream they can never outlive in retirement.

Becky Altman is Springer Financial Advisors' Operations and Office Manager. Earlier, Becky worked as a licensed workers' compensation claims adjuster in Alaska for ten years. Since returning to Sacramento in 2006, she has also obtained her life insurance license. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and bird watching.

Troy Jones is Springer Financial Advisors' Senior Web Content Specialist. He is currently finishing a B.S. in Business Administration in the Entertainment Industry at Full Sail University. He comes from over 15 years in Internet Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Web Design/UI experience. Troy enjoys road bicycling, physical training and a good game of chess.

Marianne Engle is Springer Financial Advisors' Research Analyst. She is responsible for maintaining the company’s database and facilitating the mail-out campaigns. Born in Sacramento, but raised in San Diego, she previously has worked within workers’ compensation, legal, financial, and construction industries. Outside of work, she enjoys camping and spending time with family.

Kristen Myers is Springer Financial Advisors’ Senior Research Analyst. She has a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in finance from Sacramento State, where she is currently pursuing her M.B.A. in finance. Myers grew up in Cameron Park, and has lived in the Sacramento area most of her life. When not working or studying, she plays adult co-ed softball.

Laurie Carpio is Springer Financial Advisors' Systems Director. Laurie was born and raised in Sacramento. In addition to her busy work schedule, she is a full-time student in Sacramento City College’s occupational therapy assistant program.
